Corporate Social Responsibility
CSR & Community Engagement
Corporate Social Responsibility acts as a link between companies and the communities they operate in. While government systems are often overburdened, local NGOs are able to identify real problems and respond quickly at the ground level. With the right support, small NGOs can create visible and meaningful impact.
Animal welfare is closely connected to human welfare. Issues such as injured street animals, lack of vaccination, uncontrolled population and poor animal health directly affect public safety, farmers’ livelihoods and community hygiene. Supporting animal welfare initiatives contributes to healthier and safer communities.
Blue Cape Animal Rescue and Welfare Foundation, Pulgaon works at the local level to support street animals and community-owned animals. Our work includes emergency rescue, basic medical treatment, vaccination and sterilisation support, feeding initiatives and local awareness activities.
Companies can associate with us through simple and clearly defined CSR activities such as supporting medical expenses, vaccination and sterilisation programs, feeding drives, emergency rescue assistance and basic animal care infrastructure. These activities are practical, measurable and visible on the ground.
We work closely with local veterinarians, volunteers and community members to ensure that CSR-supported activities are implemented responsibly and documented as required.
If your organisation is looking to engage in animal welfare–related CSR activities that have a direct impact at the community level, we welcome you to connect with us.
